Thomas is a 13-year-old accomplished drummer who plays with maturity and poise. He has been attending drum lessons since the age of 7 where he continues to develop his theory, technique, and groove. He recently completed his Grade 5 Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) Rock School Drum Exam
In 2021, Thomas entered the Drum-Off Global Annual International drum competition and submitted a 4-minute drum solo video, winning the Australian junior category. This propelled him onto the international stage where he was assessed against eleven other countries by a panel of world-renowned drummers including Anika Niles, Chris Coleman, Thomas Haake and Carter McLean. This opportunity then led to Thomas becoming an ambassador for Red Cymbals, a privately owned Australian cymbal company.
He has performed and recorded with accomplished musicians and for a period of 12 months, played in a cover band with adults. He is currently seeking younger musicians to create original music with and form a band. Thomas enjoys playing funk, fusion, indie, blues, soul, classic rock and progressive rock.
