Launching in May 2024, Mako Dance Group is a Pasifika entertainment group sharing and celebrating cultural dances from across the Pacific Islands with the wider community. Mako is named after the beautiful mako in Samata-Fagafau, Samoa – a sea cliff overlooking the vast moana shared by all the islands of the Pacific.
