Dive into the world of Kaylah Thomas, an indie-pop artist from the heart of country Victoria. More than just a singer-songwriter, she’s a storyteller – one who believes her vulnerability isn’t just part of her artistry; it’s her defining strength.
Inspired by Olivia Rodrigo, Maggie Rogers, and Sam Fender, Kaylah blends indie, folk, and pop influences, creating music that lingers and lyrics that cut deep. Her journey has taken her from being a three-time Principal Vocalist in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular – performing to 14,000 at Hisense Arena and a national TV audience – to earning a Bachelor of Music from the Victorian College of the Arts, where she explored interactive composition.
Establishing herself as an emerging artist, Kaylah’s debut EP, Tiny World, is an enchanting indie-pop body of work, weaving together themes of forgiveness, reflection, and resilience. Kaylah has crafted a style that hits hard and hits home, with standout singles like Try and Letting Go (Of You), Kaylah continues to captivate audiences, most recently performing an original work as part of Futuration, a sold-out show of 875 guests at Crown Casino.
Grounded in authenticity, bold expression, and lyrical introspection, Kaylah’s music is a window into her world, – one where emotions are laid bare, and stories unfold with honesty
Kaylah is scheduled to perform on Friday 5 December 2025 during day time. Check out our Performing Arts Program Schedule which will be published soon.
