Where is the event located?
The festival takes place at Rundle Mall in the heart of Adelaide, within the main pedestrian precinct.
Is entry free?
Yes, entry to the festival is free. However, we encourage visitors to register in advance to help the organisers tailor the experience to suit you — and to go in the draw for a cash prize on the day of the event.
What are the weekend highlights?
Fri & Sat Night Schedule
7:00 PM | Lion Dance: High-energy tradition through the bamboo huts.
8:00 PM | The Tasting: Discover unique signature flavors from our vendors.
9:30 PM | Lantern Parade: A stunning glow taking over Rundle Mall.
Will there be vegetarian, vegan or halal options?
Many vendors will offer a range of dietary-friendly options. We recommend checking directly with each stall for specific ingredient information.
What payment methods are accepted?
Colours of Asia is a cashless festival. To ensure quick service and shorter queues, all vendors accept credit and debit cards (EFTPOS) only. Please ensure you have your card or mobile payment ready!
Is the festival wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The festival is held on the flat, paved surface of Rundle Mall, making the entire site accessible for wheelchairs, and prams. Accessible restrooms are also located nearby within the shopping centres.
